Datacenter Virtualization & Storage Consultant

You are part of the 'Managing the Virtual Datacenter' team and will be focusing on:

• Implementing virtualization environments and datacenter management based on VMWare or Microsoft virtualization solutions;
• Migrating existing ICT infrastructure to new virtualization platform;
• Supporting existing environments;
• Assisting our customers in making sound architectural decisions;
• Advanced troubleshooting;

Profile

We are looking for a datacenter virtualization & Storage consultant with experience in datacenter virtualization, storage and datacenter management solutions, and strong social as well as technical skills.

At least some of the following technical skills are required:

• Experience with Microsoft or VMWare virtualization solutions;
• Experience with storage systems of Netapp or EMC;
• Microsoft Windows Operating Systems knowledge (servers and desktops);
• Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policies knowledge;
• Affinity with scripting (VBS, Powershell);
• Experience with datacenter management solutions such as VMWare vCOPS, vCAC or Microsoft SCOM, SCVMM is a plus;

Next to the technical skills, we expect from our consultants following attitudes:

• Enthusiastic about new emerging technologies in virtualization & consolidation;
• Ability to work independently, but also to integrate in a team;
• Customer oriented and a "can do" attitude;
• Eager to learn (both via training and on the job);
• Willing to take exams to achieve IT Certifications;
• A good knowledge of Dutch and English (French is a plus);
